Evidence before certainty

Research methodology

We separate fixed reference information from changeable operational details and show when direct confirmation is still needed.

Effective 8 September 2026 · test release

Source order

Cruise-line boarding documents remain the final passenger instruction. For general port reference we prefer official ABP, Southampton VTS, council, National Rail, airport and operator pages; provider-specific price and hours come from the provider itself.

Schedule publication gate

The cruise schedule page and import pipeline do not scrape or republish cruise calls without permission. Publication requires written data rights, allowed fields, refresh rules, caching, completeness and attribution to be recorded first. The current source and publication state are shown on the schedule and data-status pages.

Movement time is not boarding time

Arrival and departure values describe vessel movements. They are not passenger check-in, boarding or gate-closing times. Cruise-line documents remain the authority for when and where a passenger must arrive.

Confidence labels

Passenger confirmed means the visitor selected the terminal shown on their own paperwork. Provisional means the detail can change. Partner required means the service is not available through us until a named supplier passes the stated checks.

After-cruise calculation

The planner subtracts the passenger's chosen total onward allowance from the same-day gap after reaching landside. It does not deduct storage, walking or city travel, and the two-hour and four-hour bands are cautious editorial rules rather than validated connection advice.

Luggage comparisons

Options are compared on total inconvenience: opening time, route from the terminal, the later return journey, price signal, booking requirement and published protection—not price alone. Every provider card shows its own source and check date, and details still need direct verification.

Update rule

Changeable commercial data should be rechecked at least monthly and before a promoted sailing brief. Any authorised schedule snapshot must show its exact checked time, coverage, completeness and source. Operational terminal details should still link visitors to live official sources on the day.
